Job Profile
1. To act as an ambassador for the HR function, and create and refine the HR policies in India in co-ordination with Corporate Office at USA policies, and practices. 2. To take ownership of talent acquisition, and retention, and build a strong and effective HR department for Our Client in India to ensure that our most important assets are nurtured and developed. 3. To take responsibility for aligning the HR strategy for India with the rest of the organization, translating strategy into solutions, actions and results. 4. To provide HR statistical data on information such as hiring, attrition, length of service and other general MIS data as and when required. Also provide key inputs for employee rewards & recognition program, and provide career path development plans. 5. To assess the impact of business decisions on the workforce and provide solutions to optimize opportunities and mitigate any downsides. To identify shortcomings, devise, plan, and implement HR policies in consultation with the team leaders as need arises. 6. To identify issues and trends within the business exploring the underlying causes of attrition in order to provide an effective solution. 7. To champion HR initiatives across the business. To take responsibility for identifying own and team`s training and developmental needs on an on-going basis, and make presentations regularly to staff/senior management on HR initiatives. 8. To drive the implementation of organizational wide initiatives within Our Client, with a focus on Talent and Performance Management. 9. To initiate and influence change management programs while acting as a change agent, leading, supporting and contributing to change initiatives. 10. To coach senior management and individual contributors where necessary. 11. To proactively build relationships across the business, providing HR consultancy across teams in India and USA. 12. Additional responsibilities as defined by the General Manager, Our Client or the Corpoate Director, Human Resources.
